I attended a Zoo-phonics® training several years ago and have been using it ever since. I have never used such a successful program. The kindergartners, on the average, are ready for formalized reading instruction months sooner! This year, I have a little girl who, after 7 months of school, has learned no letters, no numerals, no shapes, and only tow or three colors. Yet, she knows 12 sounds!!! You could not blast Zoo-phonics® out of my classroom!
