Hi Zoo-phonics®! I just wanted to drop you a note to say THANK YOU! I teach children who are deaf and hard of hearing in an auditory-oral preschool and have been using your curriculum for the past five years. I am able to consistently teach 3, 4 and 5 year-olds who are deaf and hard of hearing, often times with little to no language, the ENTIRE alphabet including sound-symbol. Even though I do not use sign language in my classroom, I teach the children the signals. The signals not only help the children master sound-symbol, but the signals allow them to 'see' inaudible or difficult speech sounds, which they generally carrying over and use in their speech and language! Watching my student's eyes light up during Zoo-phonics® everyday is heart warming. I hope that other auditory-oral deaf schools and special education preschool teachers discover the same gem that I did 5 years ago! Many thanks and much appreciation!
